Your information
Privacy, explained
in plain language.
What Cardalog collects, why we use it, and the choices you have.
Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated September 19, 2026. Cardalog LLC does not sell personal information or use website inquiries for advertising. We use the information you provide to respond, prepare a quote, and perform services you later authorize.
This policy applies to cardalog.net, its inquiry form, and related communications with Cardalog. A signed service agreement may contain additional terms for collection records, photographs, custody documents, grading submissions, and other engagement information.
Information we collect
Information you provide
The website inquiry form asks for your name, email address, the service you are interested in, and a message. If you contact us by email or phone, we receive the information you choose to provide. Please do not include exact storage locations, payment-card details, government identifiers, or other sensitive information in an initial inquiry.
If you later hire Cardalog, we may collect the records needed for the agreed work, such as contact and billing details, authority documents, inventory records, photographs, declared values, custody records, grading instructions, and return documentation.
Technical information
When you visit or submit the form, our infrastructure provider, Cloudflare, processes standard request information such as an IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, and security signals. The form uses an IP address to enforce a short rate limit. The inquiry Worker does not log the form contents, and its application observability is disabled.
This site loads fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser connects to Google to request the font files and sends standard connection information such as an IP address and user-agent information.
How we use information
- Respond to inquiries and communicate about requested services.
- Evaluate scope, prepare quotes, and perform work you authorize.
- Maintain custody, grading, billing, tax, insurance, and business records where applicable.
- Protect the website, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot delivery failures.
- Comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.
Submitting the form starts a conversation. It does not book work or create a service engagement.
Retention and security
We keep inquiries and engagement records only as long as reasonably needed to respond, provide the requested services, maintain required business and legal records, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary with the type of record and the engagement.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including HTTPS, restricted email delivery, input validation, abuse controls, and limited application logging. No online service or email system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and California disclosures
You may ask to review, correct, or delete personal information Cardalog maintains about you. Some information may need to be retained for legal, tax, insurance, dispute, or contract purposes. Send requests to info@cardalog.net with “Privacy request” in the subject line. We may need to verify your identity before acting.
Cookies and online tracking
Cardalog does not intentionally place analytics or advertising cookies and does not track visitors across unrelated websites. Because we do not conduct that cross-site tracking, browser “Do Not Track” signals do not change how this site operates. Infrastructure providers may use essential security technologies and receive standard request data when serving the site. Third-party links and services have their own privacy practices.
Children
The site and services are intended for adults. Cardalog does not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the website, services, or legal requirements change. The updated version will appear here with a revised date.
Questions or privacy requests may be sent to info@cardalog.net or Cardalog LLC at (951) 517-3477.
