Using this website
Clear boundaries.
Before work begins.
These terms govern the website. Every Cardalog engagement has its own agreed scope and documents.
Website Terms
Effective and last updated September 19, 2026. Using this site does not hire Cardalog, transfer property, reserve time, or authorize charges. Work begins only after Cardalog and the customer agree to the scope, deliverable, service fee, approved expenses, and any required custody or grading documents.
These terms govern your use of cardalog.net and its inquiry form. If a signed engagement agreement or authorization conflicts with this page, the signed document controls for that engagement.
Website use and inquiries
The website provides general information about Cardalog’s sports-card collection services. You may use the site and inquiry form for lawful personal or business purposes. You may not interfere with the site, attempt unauthorized access, submit malicious code, impersonate another person, or use automated requests in a way that disrupts service.
An inquiry is an invitation to discuss possible work. Cardalog may decline work, request additional information, or determine that a different professional is needed. No engagement exists until both sides agree to it.
Services and pricing
Cardalog offers collection assessments, full sorting and screening, targeted cataloging, collection updates, family handover assistance, and grading preparation and submission support. An assessment is a survey with a written recommendation; it is not an itemized inventory. A Full Sort and Screen handles every card and itemizes the subset agreed before work begins.
The website shows the current advertised starting prices and pricing method. A quote identifies the work, deliverable, fixed service fee, and separately approved expenses. A changed request may require a revised quote, which must be agreed before additional work begins.
Cardalog does not buy or sell cards, prepare or manage sales, arrange buyers, list cards, negotiate transactions, handle sale proceeds, or accept sales commissions or referral compensation.
Estimates, appraisals, and grading
Market-value estimates use available comparable sales and professional judgment as of the report date. Collectibles markets and card condition assessments can change. Estimates are not guaranteed sale prices, certified appraisals, insurance schedules, tax valuations, charitable-deduction valuations, or court opinions.
Third-party grading companies alone determine grades, eligibility, fees, labels, turnaround times, and their custody terms. Cardalog cannot guarantee a grade or completion date. Cards are submitted only after the customer approves the selected cards, grading company, service level, declared values, estimated third-party costs, Cardalog fee, and shipping plan.
Property, shipping, and third parties
Do not ship or deliver property until Cardalog agrees in writing. Any intake, custody, declared-value, shipping, grading, and return obligations are governed by the signed documents for that engagement and applicable insurance or carrier terms.
The site may refer to or link to third-party services. Those services control their own prices, availability, policies, and performance. A link does not mean Cardalog controls or guarantees the third party.
Website information and responsibility
Cardalog works to keep the site accurate, but general website information may become outdated or contain errors. The site is provided on an “as available” basis and may be changed or interrupted. Do not make a material financial, tax, insurance, estate, legal, or grading decision solely from general website content.
Nothing on this page limits duties that cannot lawfully be limited or changes obligations Cardalog expressly accepts in a signed agreement. You remain responsible for the information and authority you provide and for decisions you make about your property.
Intellectual property
The Cardalog name, logo, site design, text, and original materials are owned by Cardalog or used with permission. You may view and print site pages for personal reference. Other reproduction, publication, or commercial use requires written permission.
Privacy
Use of the inquiry form and other personal information is described in the Privacy Policy. Please do not include exact storage locations or other sensitive details in an initial inquiry.
Changes, law, and contact
Cardalog may update these terms when the website, services, or legal requirements change. The revised terms apply after they are posted with a new effective date. These website terms are governed by California law, without changing any rights that applicable law does not allow a customer to waive.
